Hey Guys,
When i was signing up my blogspot i made my stand not to write movie reviews, but after seeing Final Destination 5 (FD5) i again made up my same stand with some exceptions. Though am not the professional or even part time review writer, will share some of my views about the movie. Also am writing this because after all i have created my own blogspot and i dont know so far what to scribble in it.
Well, I have watched the movie FD5 3D in Sathyam at 7.15 show today with my office colleagues and friends.
About movie FD5
I say I have seen one of the best 3D movies. Whatever the sounds / noice created by us while seeing the movie like "Wow / Ayyayyo / yabbaaa / oh ! ****" its certainly the 3D effect. Starting from the title "Warner Bros Production" and till "The End" the 3D view was awesome.
Director Steven Quale and the writer Eric Heisserer made us to realise how vulnerable our life is.
A set of employees around 10 -15 is making a retreat outing. When they are crossing a bridge which is under construction, one of the employee (probably he should be the hero) foreseeing the bridge collapses and leads to several deaths. This is about 5 - 10 mins scene but you cant forget for 5 - 10 years in your life time. Then he is attempting to make a quick evacuation from his bus and saves the life of 8 employees including himself.
Well, the 8 got escaped time being, but the director decides that they are not deserved to live anymore, then he (director) starts showing his creativity on killing those 8 one by one for the rest of the movie. You cannot imagine that the deaths can be so terrific or horrible. Here Director's creativity wins even god's creativity. He made every scene to watch from the seat edge. He scared us through out the movie such a way that you will not notice the rest of the things in the movie like music, camera and other stuffs.
Overall this movie is not for weak hearted persons and even the strongest persons who doesnt want to weak their hearts.
I watched the movie
I have called up Mr Reddy and asking about his accompany for this movie before booking tickets. But he has rejected the invitation and said "it will be so scary for me and i dont want to watch it." I said "hey reddy please watch the movie with the mindset that it is just a movie and dont get in to that totally." That's fine, after 15 mins, as the movie proceeds i realised what reddy said and i should have taken up his stand too. I thought of winding up in between also, but you should remember that i didnt go alone to give up my image, so i continued watching.
I was bit relaxed at the time of interval, even i loved the repeated adds, from saravana stores and some queued up of stores in t nagar and also some of the junk adds. Oh! No!... is the word came from my mouth once the movie started continuing after interval. Fine, I have convinced myself that "theatre ku nu vandhuta padam poda thaan seivaanga and adha pota thaan seekiram mudiyum, veetukku polaaam". I didnt feel much difference between the first scene and the climax, since everything are same, but this time in climax i was bit dare to watch it as the fear was getting saturated.
When I came out of theatre some of the fear stayed within me. I was walking on the road very carefully, when i was crossing the road i took some extra cautions thinking that anything may happen at anytime, that too so damn horribly. Even i drove the car very carefully than ever before to reach home. Finally i reached home by 11pm. My daughter welcomed me with her own nice smile. I was surprised nothing happened to me so far.
The only good thing happened was the movie ticket fare, popcorn and coke were sponsored by my good colleague / friend Mr. Prasanna. I didnt scare by spending my own money from my own pocket... :-)
Thats it from me as of now, since i get really a good sleep after a terrific experience.
Thanks, will meet like this adikkadi.
